Is gre at home different?

This is the same general GRE test that is done at a test center. The only difference is that you use your own equipment and you are monitored online by a human supervisor. The GRE at home, on the other hand, is much more accessible. You can find a date as soon as a week or less.

This makes the test at home much more attractive. One of the key differences when comparing the GMAT home test to the GRE is the structure of the test compared to the usual exam experience. The GRE at-home general exam is identical in content, on-screen experience and format compared to the exam taken at the center. However, the GMAT at-home exam has omitted the Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) section, which is included if you take the GMAT exam at the center.

The only difference is that you take the test at home. You'll still have an experimental section.
